Guillermo Davis is a leading
teacher of Afro-Cuban Dance, Salsa and Cuban Popular Dance in the UK.
He is classified as a first class dance teacher in Cuba.
He runs regular classes and workshops
in london in Afro-Cuban Dance and Cuban Popular Dance including Salsa
and Carnival Dance(see class
dates). He provides workshops around the UK for both children
and adults. (see bookings

He works in collaboration with others
including www.f-ire.com (regular Afro-Cuban Dance class tues eves), Mambo
City (Salsa 5 star events), Eastside at Chisenhale Dance Space, Mandinga
Arts, Badejo Arts www.worldwidemusic.org and with a number of dance and
music artists. He has run classes in London at City University, Oh Art!
(Oxford House), Chisenhale Dance space, Upstream. Weekend Arts College,
the Place, and Paddington Arts.
Davis teaches Cuban dance forms from
Salsa through to Vodu. He is much loved by his students both here and
in Cuba. He works with adults, children (4years upwards) and young people
from beginners to professional performers with amatuer dancers and professionals
and preparing young dancers for professional performance.
He worked for 12 years as a leading dance
teacher in Academia Danza Libre working with professional dancers from
Cuba and abroad, with amatuer dancers and children. Before that he worked
as a dance teacher and choreographer in the Cuban 'Movement of Amateur
Artists'.
